Top 12 of '12

Mom Post:
2012 has been, without a doubt, the best year of my life. Here we are on the last day of the year and I have been looking back on all the amazing things that have occured. I feel so blessed and happy for such a wonderful year! Here are my top 12 of 2012.

1. January 18, 2012

2. Taking Georgia on her first trip to Mexico

3. Watching Auntie Harmony and Grams fall in love with their little G

4. Seeing Georgia's first smile

5. Celebrating my first Mother's Day as a Mom

6. Seeing Harmony off to Dubai. Which is also one of the hardest days of 2012. But I am so proud of her for living across the world on her own and experiencing all the amazing things that she has!

7. Taking Georgia to swimming lessons

8. Hearing Georgia giggle for the first time

9. Hearing Georgia say "Mum" for the first time

West Edmonton Mall

My little Starfish enjoyed an afternoon of swimming at the West Edmonton Mall World Waterpark! Even though her lips were blue from the cold, it didn't slow her down one bit! She had a splashing good time!

Boxing Day

Georgia had a lot of fun playing with all of her new toys this morning. After a great nap, we went skating at the Dawe. Mom was going to show Georgia her moves, but packed two left skates! Oops :)

Christmas Day

We had SO much fun celebrating Georgia's first Christmas. By the end of the day, she really got good at opening presents! It was a busy day - starting at our house for stockings, then Grandma & Grandpa's, then Gram's, then to Ray & Dawn's, then back to Grammy's for supper with Great-Grandpy and Great-Uncle Larry. She was one tired girl (and one tired Momma!)

Santa must have liked his milk & cookies!

Loving her stocking loot!

Playing in her new ball pit/tunnel from Santa!

Toy chest from Uncle Justin

Receiving her very first Cabbage Patch Doll from Grandma. Her name is Wezie Salena (why didn't I think of that one!?)

The girls loving Addy's wagon from Auntie and Uncle

We spent the afternoon at Gram's. What a nice set up!

She really loves her new car from Grammy! It was literally hours of entertainment!

This was a picture of us taken at Christmas last year...

And this is us this year!

Christmas Eve

We started off Christmas Eve day at Grandma and Grandpa Tait's for an afternoon of bread-making, snacks and playing.

We then went to St. Mary's Church with the Wieclawek's to attend the traditional 7:30 Christmas Eve service together. After that, off to Gram's for dinner and a night of fun!
