Welcomed with Love
With a full head of hair and even some highlights (she really is mine!), Miss Georgia Rose Tait entered the world 4 days earlier than expected on Wednesday January 18, 2012.
This is her first picture ever!
First time home
Georgia acclimated herself to the spa life early. A stay at La Solitude Bed & Breakfast (a generous Christmas gift from Auntie Cariann & Kurtis!) and a spa treatment were not to be missed, so just 2 days after her birth, Georgia was out there soaking up the ambience.
Picture Perfect....
At 5 days old, Georgia went for her first (of what will apparently be many) photo shoots. Armed with nothing more than the latest in hair accessories, and my now ever-present breast pump, we ventured out. Totally unaware of the nuances of photo shoot perfection, we began our 5 hour marathon. Georgia was the perfect model and slept the day away. The pictures were wonderful and well worth the sacrifice of being peed on!
Banff and Canmore bound!
Along with Grams and Auntie Harmony, we ventured off for a weekend at the Rimrock Hotel in Banff. We started the trip with a bit of shopping in Canmore and then carried on to Banff for more shopping, relaxation, and even a bit of a hike.
Hola Senorita! At three months old, Georgia boarded her first plane to Los Cabos, Mexico with Grams, Auntie Harmony and Auntie Cariann . She was a fabulous traveler (in fact, she slept through the night all 7 nights we were there! Something she didn't do again for many months later...) and thoroughly enjoyed the Mexican sun! Well, what little sun she saw between her hats and the pool hut.
Georgia's first passport photo
First plane ride!
For Georgia's first May Long camping trip, we went out to Joy & Earl's land near Caroline with the Tait clan. We were thankful to not have snow and Georgia and Addy were great little girls!
